Landry Fields, who served as GM since 2022, was fired after Atlanta finished 40-42 and lost in the Play-In Tournament.
Team owner Tony Ressler praised Fields for his contributions but said the franchise needed a “new direction” to grow.
Fields’ most notable achievement was drafting Zaccharie Risacher No. 1 overall in 2024. Risacher had a strong rookie year, averaging 12.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 75 games.
Onsi Saleh Takes Over as New GM
Onsi Saleh, who joined the Hawks in 2024 after time with the Warriors and Spurs, is now promoted to general manager.
