Raphinha scored a 98th-minute penalty as Barcelona recovered from 3-1 down to beat Celta Vigo 4-3 on 19 April 2025.
Borja Iglesias hit a hat-trick for Celta, but Barcelona scored three times in the final half-hour to extend their La Liga lead.
Iglesias punishes Barcelona’s mistakes
Ferran Torres put Barcelona ahead in the 12th minute. Iglesias equalised three minutes later after Wojciech Szczesny missed Pablo Duran’s cross.
Iglesias struck again when Frenkie de Jong and Inigo Martinez got in each other’s way, then completed his hat-trick by chasing a long ball and lifting his finish over Szczesny.
Olmo and Raphinha drag Barcelona level
Hansi Flick introduced Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo with Barcelona two goals behind.
Olmo scored five minutes after coming on, finishing a move involving Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha. Yamal then crossed for Raphinha to head the equaliser.
Raphinha completes the comeback
Barcelona continued to press as Olmo and Jules Kounde went close. Deep into added time, Olmo was caught from behind inside the area.
The referee awarded the penalty after a video review and Raphinha drove it into the top corner for his 30th goal of the season in all competitions.
Olmo admitted Barcelona had not played well throughout, but said the supporters pushed the team to the final whistle. The comeback turned a damaging defeat into a victory that tightened Barcelona’s grip on the title race.
