Eddie Howe Reacts to the Late Goal Equalizer | Newcastle 2–2 Leverkusen

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe shared his frustration following the dramatic late equalizer in the 2–2 draw against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.

Despite a strong comeback after trailing 1–0, the Magpies were once again undone by a momentary lapse in concentration conceding from a late set piece.

Eddie Howe praised his squad’s fighting spirit especially the impact of Lewis Miley and Anthony Gordon in the second half, but admitted that recurring defensive errors are hurting the team.
