Barcelona manager Hansi Flick reflected on his team’s Champions League elimination and explained what FC Barcelona must improve to compete for the title next season.
Flick admitted the result was deeply disappointing for players, staff, and supporters, but praised the mentality and attitude shown by the squad throughout the tie. According to the German coach, Barcelona played an excellent first half and created enough chances to score more goals, but football is often decided by key moments.
Looking ahead, Flick believes the next step for Barcelona is to focus on winning La Liga, while continuing to develop a young squad that still has room to grow.
