With a final record of 68-14, the Thunder not only clinched the No. 1 seed in the West by 16 games, but also set a new all-time NBA record for average point differential, outscoring opponents by 12.9 points per game.
That mark eclipses the legendary 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers, who held the previous record at +12.3.
