Cristiano Ronaldo, Zero Goals and a Sad Exit from the Euros
The 39-year-old Ronaldo played the full 120 minutes in the Portugal vs. France match,
which showcased his loss of necessary speed and the effectiveness of his free-kick prowess.
Despite Portugal’s possession of the ball, they did not create many decisive chances.
The teams went to penalties, but… Portugal was not lucky this time.
Goalkeeper Diogo Costa couldn’t save the day as he did against Slovenia.
João Félix hit the post, denying his team a place in the next round.
Ronaldo leaves the tournament without any goals.
